Design Optimization of a Switched Reluctance Machine with an Improved Segmental Rotor for Electric Vehicle Applications

چکیده

In this article, a switched reluctance machine (SRM) with six phases and misaligned segmental rotor is proposed. The has an internal 15-degree misalignment, allowing the SRM structure to be one-layer 2D short flux path structure. proposed produces relatively low torque ripple by exciting two simultaneously. Additionally, optimization method applied, for maximum position of one phase aligned zero-torque adjacent phase. finite element (FEM) used analyze design simulate liquid cooling system. static waveforms are analyzed, dynamic simulated drive using SiC MOSFETs. Finally, prototype manufactured, experiment performed validate simulation results.
